ALL THE LITTLE DETAILS

You may be wondering where to even start when it comes to getting your photos taken, but no worries, you're in the right place! I have put together a list of things to help you rest assured. From answers to frequently asked questions, to popular location spots, to what to wear, and some tips on how to prepare, I've got your back!

-FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • How many pictures do I get?

    • The length of your session will determine how many pictures we are able to capture. Typically, in an hour session (at one location), you will receive at least 80+ edited images (most likely more because I can never pass any up when editing!). In an hour and a half session, you can expect at least 100+ images, and longer than that, you will be in the hundreds! No matter what, I will ensure you will have plenty of pretty pictures to keep your #seniorsunday selection full!

  • How will I receive my pictures? How do I keep them?

    • You will receive all of your edited images digitally, after payment is received. They will be uploaded on a digital photo album on Pixieset. After the session, when your pictures are ready, you will be sent a link to your album. Upon logging in, you will be free to save and download any, and as many photos as you'd like!

  • When will I receive my pictures?

    • My average turn-around time for getting edited pictures back to you is within 3-4 weeks after your session (depending on volume of bookings, my goal is no more than 2 weeks!). I typically will edit a few right after your session (because I am just as eager as you are to see the magic we made) and will send you a sneak peek via message or text, within a day after your session.

  • Can I post and share my pictures?

    • OF COURSE! We didn't have all that fun for nothing! Posting on your social media is heavily encouraged and tagging me is GREATLY appreciated! You sharing your photos with your friends, and sending them my way, is the sweetest compliment. Once your session is complete, I will kindly ask for your consent to post some photos from your session on my social media, to keep the good vibes going!   â€‹

  • How far apart can my locations be?

    • If you are booking a package with two or more locations, it is encouraged that the locations be within 25 minutes of one another. Of course, we can discuss all the locations you desire when you book and figure out the logistics!

  • What if I want to take some snaps with my bestie, sibling, or mom/dad?

    • This is the sweetest thing! I, too, would want a picture with a loved one who has been there with me through it all. You are welcome to invite a loved one to join in on some photos during your shoot, at no additional charge. If you would like to have a mini photoshoot with this loved one, reach out and we can talk all the deets!

  • What if my acne, hair, sunburn, or blemish wants to have a mind of its own during my pictures?

    • Have no fear, your professional photographer is here! Pesky pimples, fly away hairs, and other blemishes, have nothing on us. I carefully inspect each photo and edit every detail, down to the one little hair that wouldn't stay in place. That's what hiring me is for, right (of course!)? Smoothing out skin tones is one of my top priorities to ensure you feel beautiful or handsome, and confident in yourself!

  • What if I need some help figuring out what to wear?

    • If you're anything like me, you will go through literally every single outfit in your closet and still feel like you have nothing to wear! Getting pictures taken is such an important ordeal and you want to make sure you look your very best! I am a text, message, or phone call away from helping you out with some style tips! Whether it's knowing which color would best suit your skin tone, or knowing what kind of outfit to wear based on your location, I am happy to help! We can always meet in person, over coffee of course, if we need to--Just reach out!

  • What if I want a session other than senior pictures?

    • I love taking pictures of a variety of lifestyle moments. From engagement sessions, to maternity, I'm up for it all! Please refer to my "Lifestyle Sessions" page for more information regarding lifestyle packages! â€‹

  • How do I pay for my session?

    •  You may pay (in full) at the beginning or end of your photo session, via Venmo, Cash, Zelle or check made out to "Makenna Rendon". There is no booking fee, so no need to worry about payment until the day we take your pictures! I will have a confirmation invoice sent to you upon booking, prior to your session, with details about the package you selected, as well as add-ons if any.

  • What if I'm not feeling well the day of my session, or something comes up, can I reschedule?

    • OF COURSE! When you are having pictures taken, you most definitely want to feel 100%, we can absolutely reschedule. Dates may not be as flexible depending on volume of booking, but we can find a new date that works for you!

  • Wear an outfit that you feel like yourself in! (Stay true to yourself, you'll be glad you did!)

  • Take the extra time to perfect your hair and makeup and bring extra hair accessories just in case.

  • Try to dress in colors that compliment your skin tone.

DO NOT'S

  • Wear crazy patterns and textures together (stripes and polka dots...maybe not!)

  • Wear colors that wash you out or aren't your vibe.

PROM & GRAD PHOTOS

Some More Details on these Celebratory Occasions

Prom Mini Session- How it Works:

  • Upon booking your session, I will meet you at your location of choice, on the day of your school's prom--depending on the volume of bookings. If there are a high number of bookings, I might designate a location to have all parties meet at.

  • Photos can be taken of you and your date, you and your girls or guys, and/or you and your group!

  • The time allowance for this mini session is 30 minutes, which is plenty of time to take some shots of all the pretty details!

  • While you are dancing the night away, I will be editing your photos to ensure you have plenty to post the next morning!

Grad Photo Session- How it Works:

  • I can take pictures of you and your family/friends after your graduation ceremony, or take some snaps while at your graduation party! Maybe you want all the little details that you have put into decorating for your party, I will be sure to capture them all to add to your memorabilia

    • Details such as the cake, food, guest book, table decor, decorations, etc.

  • Maybe you'd rather just have another photo session, but this time, graduate style! You can bring your favorite outfit, graduation cap, gown, and tassel, maybe a sign or prop (or two), pick your favorite spot (maybe the steps of your school? Or your favorite place to study?) and for 30 minutes, we will get our celebrating on! â€‹
